About the Artist
Linda D'Agostino
Linda D'Agostino is a contemporary Australian artist based in Wangaratta, in Victoria's North East. Working across painting, printmaking and mixed media, she creates whimsical landscapes inspired by memory, place and imagination.
Inspired by Place
Using acrylic, watercolour, ink and pencil, Linda's work captures elegant and restrained interpretations of the landscape as it exists not only in the physical world, but in memory. Through gentle colour palettes, layered textures and thoughtful compositions, she invites viewers to pause and discover the quiet beauty of familiar places.
Exploring Printmaking
In recent years, Linda has expanded her artistic practice into printmaking after purchasing her own printing press. She now enjoys creating linocuts and drypoint etchings, embracing the unique textures and craftsmanship that printmaking brings to her work.
Community & Exhibitions
Linda is one of twelve resident artists at Art Gallery on Ovens, a community gallery in the heart of Wangaratta that showcases contemporary art while supporting local artists and fostering creativity throughout the region. Linda has proudly co-ordinated the Thirty x Thirty Exhibition held annually for the past 4 years at Art Gallery on Ovens.
An active member of the local arts community, Linda regularly exhibits her work & supports regional art shows.
Whether working in paint, print or collage, Linda's art celebrates the landscapes that shape our memories and the simple beauty found in everyday places.
Today, Linda continues to paint, print and create from her studio in Wangaratta, exhibiting throughout North East Victoria while sharing her passion for art with collectors, galleries and the wider community.
"I hope my work brings a sense of calm, nostalgia and joy to those who welcome it into their homes."
